Branden Gunst, owner and operator of Brickworx, brings almost 37 years of building and trade experience to each and every job.
In addition to masonry skills, Branden also has experience in/is:
Qualified fitter/welder
Quantity surveying
Materials lab technician
CAD operator
Completed engineering apprenticeship
Hands on experience in New Zealand, Australia and the UK
Operating in Queenstown and surrounds for over 18 years
Since 1999,
Brickworx has completed a wide variety of projects ranging through brick and split stone veneers, Architectural Masonry homes, to Hebel and Ytong constructions. The company has also been involved in specialist landmark developments such as The Onsen Pool complex and Jagged Edge projects, as well as undertaking smaller jobs such as fireplaces and retaining walls.
Brickworx has experienced Blocklayers, Bricklayers and Stonemasons on call so that they can scale up to larger commercial projects. By adhering to well-established and consistent procedures, Brickworx can deliver outstanding results that will satisy the most discerning client.
Brickworx’s strength is the efficiency that it is small enough so that each job receives Branden’s personal attention, yet large enough to complete major jobs in a timely manner.

The Brickworx Way
Branden will personally meet with you for an initial project briefing so that he fully understands every element of the project, your needs and expectations. He will visit the job site and review your plans, agree on outcomes including project milestones and timelines for completion. He will then prepare and present a quote.
Brickworx strives to minimise the impact on every site they work on. They will work closely with the site manager to endure minimum disruption or inconvenience to other contractors.
Branden will personally visit every site regularly and meet with the manager of the project on at least a weekly basis.
Brickworx will always leave a site better than they found it. To ensure they meet agreed outcomes, Branden will conduct a project review with every client on completion and before his team leaves the site.
